I am not the best Instagrammer – sometimes I run away from social media and this is not the place where I am most eloquent. But what I am good at is getting people together in a space where hearts can open and magic can happen. SO that’s what I’m going to be doing a lot of this weekend; along with donating a portion of the proceeds from Saturday and Monday and ALL of the proceeds from Sunday to the Southern Poverty Law Center. And I just want to say, in case it needs to be said, that I feel all the pain, I am not surprised as I see all the wrongs that must be addressed and still there is a tiny beam of hope inside me that now that things are way out in the open and everyone can see how things really are, now we can move together boldly to create a better, fairer future so all people really get a fair shot at life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
