Do you know the lore of how EMFK became such close friends? I thought it was because of mlc but I saw somewhere that they were friends during the poddkhao era too. I am loving this friendship though they seem to be genuinely supportive of each other & kinda have the same mindset to take trips together & all Thank you in advance.
they have been friends for a very long time! idk the exact lore of how they became friends, i guess they just clicked the right way with each other, but nevertheless, i took this chance to talk about some of my favorite emfk moments and their progression (i'm sorry about that).
there's this episode on earthmix space from 2022 where both earth and mix talk about how they became friends with firstkhao. from what he tells us, mix and khaotung became friends after working on a tale of a thousand stars together, and because they are from the northern region of thailand, mix says that there are so many connections between the two of them (his friend would also be khaotung's friend, and someone he knew would also know khaotung, so they were connected in that way). and because first is khaotung's best friend, first was introduced to mix through khaotung as well (it's a very fun ems episode tbh, i highly recommend it) (firstkhao also appeared on a more recent ems episode - from 2023 - where they drive racing cars, first looks especially hot and mix looks adorable in pink - it also features first's really expensive red jacket that stayed with khaotung for like more than a year).
but yeah, from the very few videos i could find on my quick research, poddkhao and earthmix used to be on quite a few dates and first would also tag along back in 2020 which is honestly hilarious. and i think we all know about the purple and orange event with empk + first also in 2020, so they were together quite a bit even back then.
but leaving poddkhao behind and talking about more present time things, in my bubble we say earthmixfirstkhao are a polycule because they do feel like one to be honest. earthmix's married energy and whatever new game firstkhao have been presenting lately just makes that feeling even stronger (and not to be that person, and maybe khao and mix just have the same shirt, but this pretty baby blue shirt mix used in japan this time around was with khaotung a while ago).
they are really good friends and very supportive of each other. they attend each other events (firstkhao and earthmix went to each other's fanday events back in 2023), they travel together (look at their trip to italy for example, they had a lot of fun), spent christmas together, went praying together for the new year and just now as i was writing this, forcebook and jimmysea talked about them [ here and here] and how they always stick together. they have one of the most beautiful bonds in my opinion (i'll link you to one of my twitter moot's thread with a few of these moments some of them are a little older too if i'm not mistaken). they spent khaotung's birthday in 2023 i think together in mix's house, they coordinated costumes for the gmmtv outing and dressed like itachi from naruto, attended each other's birthday events, went to mix's graduation, for khaotung's birthday message on instagram one year, earth called him soft one and it still is one of my favorite friendship moments of them. and even junior said when earthmix were to guest on live house, there would be a special secret host, and he was certain it would be first because "earthmix are the guests, how can it not be first?". and i was also reminded by myself upon searching that they've talked about buying matching pants, too, among many many other things.
also, they have stupid good chemistry together not only when they are working - look at mlc -, but also when we're allowed to watch their interactions and they are always chaotic and so much fun.
i know it's tacky to say these things bc we don't know these men for real, but as fans, we feel like they are really like a little family. they have each other's backs and are close and very good friends. that's why seeing them act in ossan's love was so much fun, since we've only seen them act in dramas before, so here i am with my fingers crossed that we'll have earthmix showing up in cat for cash too either as customers or voicing the cats. either way, i'll be the happiest having the four of them again.
Jimmy was recently talking about how he is curious about the bond of EMFK, and it's so true. I love, love, love them. Their bond is so precious, and I think they do have a similar mindset. Flying to another country to support each other, taking vacations together—it really showcases their bond. It makes me mad thinking about how some people were hating on FK during Live House, saying they should stop hanging around together. They even tagged EMFK too. Knowing how they see everything, they definitely saw it.
Mix recently posted something about how he will never let go of his friends, and First reposted it. I was wondering why some people hate them, and I found out that some get insecure about the whole Alanwen/ex-boyfriend mention. Do you think there are any other reasons?Anyways, I hope they always find comfort and love in each other.
i've said it before and i'll repeat myself a million times over, the emfk friendship is so special, and i love how much they let us see it. you have to be a little in love with your friends never made so much sense as it does with these four tbh. they clearly care a lot and cherish each other's friendship a lot.
about why some people don't like them together as much, take this with a grain of salt, because i wasn't really here at the time, but i've read that partially comes from the mlc era (it was more of a fandom thing, and there was gf's fandom there as well. apparently the fandoms of each pair wanted to say that said couple was more impactful than the other or that the show was better bc of x couple, usual fandom pettiness). more recently though, em's fandom were annoyed that em didn't have many events and the events they had were with fk. they were talking about favoritism and how fk were privileged (which is crazy bc you're in the fandom and look at the official schedules). from what i've seen though, these people are the minority of the minority in the fandom.
regardless of that, i hope our polycule keeps feeding us well.
(to those who don't know, earthmix had a fanmeet in hong kong today - 30/03/2025 - and firstkhao flew there today to watch the event)
