Paywall, you say? Ad.fly you scream? Creators content you squeal? See. I respect all creators content that I use. I also credit them. I don’t steal or do anything wrong according to Electronic Arts. All content created, regardless who it’s by (even my content) belongs to EA. To charge for that content is against THEIR TOUs , yes.. I decided to look this up since people felt butthurt. Unless EA has a problem with me uploading complete sims, then I am doing nothing wrong. The people that are charging are.
Possible rebuttals:
-”Well, even if technically you aren’t doing anything wrong it’s still about morality.” Ahhh , okay. Morality? Hmph. I give credit and don’t claim anything. Speaking of morality EA states that althought using adfly doesn’t go against their TOU when it comes to content, creators should be aware that certain ad shorteners can give users viruses and they should stray from it. SO... if we’re going to talk about my morality, let’s talk about theirs as well.
Once again, I love the creators for the sims and I appreciate everything yall do. I will never steal, claim, or resell any of your things. But let’s not be a pot calling the kettle black, k?
On a sidenote, no creators have actually reached out to me with any issues. It’s only the people who like to secretly use downwithpatreon and then act like they’re gunho for creators!
-EA also said “It’s not illegal to reupload content, however the community might hate you.” Hmph. I don’t know the community and they don’t know me. Simple. If you really have the patience to get mad over someone reuploading a deleted, paywall-hidden, or adfly-protected-virus-producing package file then geez... let’s talk about YOUR morality.
