I’m sitting on my parents’ patio. It’s warm outside and the sun is casually lurking through the grey mass of clouds that are right now overcasting the green fields and pastures I’m looking at. Soon the local farmer is going to send his milk cattle out on the grass, leaving the far landscape spotted with little brown and black dots. Around me the roses and catnips my mum planted over 20 years ago are blooming. Every inch of the garden space is humming and buzzing.
Right now I’m working on my paper and for once I’m in time. My cup of tea is still warm and there is more of it waiting in the kitchen. I don’t need music in my ears while working as the swallows and sparrows are singing their very own music to me. Alva is laying in the grass while having her eyes closed, enjoying the light breeze that is softly waving through the air.
Right now, life is good.
