She told him not to get her anything. Told him that it was alright and that going for a walk or a picnic together would be more than enough.

But it was Easlmus, so of course he got her a gift

When he handed her the small parcel she gave him a cheeky grin, but still eagerly pulled at the wrapper.

"Oh" she breathed, lifting the locket out of the box. Her fingers smoothed over the pendant, fumbling with the latch to open it. When she read the inscription inside, her smilegrew even wider

"With all my love and most devoted admiration, to one who holds my heart very carefully in her hands"

She jumped on him with a hug, which ended up knocking them both on the ground, and pressed an eager kiss to his lips. "I love it" she giggled "And I love you. Thank you so much"
