Walking San Francisco & Thinking Out Loud . The waterfront along the Embarcadero and King Streets was the first area of San Francisco that I walked consistently starting in March of 2018. This is also where my attention began to drift away from the number of steps I was taking and the history of the buildings, neighborhoods and bridges I had been taking pics of to a focus on the landscape compositions I found all around me. I was definitely getting hooked on sunrise and first light on the city. I was wanting more of the waterfront and reflections in marinas with boats and tall masts to fill up the spaces where Manhattan-like skyscrapers could have been built. . .
