Digital Art Backups
Hot tip here from my computer science father: You can download Dropbox onto your computer to make a file that automatically backs up to a free cloud service!
A free Dropbox account can hold up 2 GB (what I have), or you can pay $8.25 a month for 1TB of data on the cloud, which is pretty sweet. Your file sizes will vary by complexity and resolution but I don’t think I have any over 40 mb right now (out of 1000 to make 1 GB), so it should at least be plenty if you’re careful about which ones you actually want to backup, but that’s not really why I’m here.
This is for all my digital art friends like me who can’t remember to backup their work. By downloading Dropbox it creates a folder that you can work on your pieces out of that automatically syncs up to your cloud when you have a connection, which is a life saver if anything goes wrong with your computer.
Here is their guide on installing it. If anyone wants help, pm me!
