Benefits of Giving To charity
Since it's coming upon that time of year when people get all sorts of new things and wind up with no room for the old stuff, please remember that old blankets and towels are always needed at animal shelters. Most shelters don't have the funds to be able to afford "comfort items", so every donation counts enormously. And if you're able to be a little extra generous, dog toys are just as appreciated.
In case you need help finding a shelter nearby. It also pays to call ahead; some shelters take everything from flannel sheets to t-shirts.
