Easy to make offering
Mead!
Both Honey and Alcohol are pretty common offerings to make, which makes mead great!
For a basic mead you only need three ingredients:
Honey
Water
And Yeast
You can decide to add things like berries if you want to change the flavor or tie it to a specific deity!
How to make it:
1. Get a clean container (glass is preferred, but a plastic bottle will work. I used a peanut butter jar my first time
2. Figure out how much that container holds! You’re going to want a 3:1 ratio of water to honey (just means divide by four and that’s how much honey you need, the rest is water)
3. Measure out water! If you are using tap water you may choose to boil it first
4. Add honey
5. Close container and shake until well mixed
6. Add Yeast (you only need about 1 1/8 tsp per gallon of mead)
7. Shake some more
8. Wrap or cover container to protect from light
9. Place somewhere it will not be disturbed or have drastic temperature changes
It’ll take a Minimum of three weeks to become alcohol, so feel free to check on it’s progress then (it’ll have some stuff that has settled to the bottom, you can move the mead to anothe container and filter it if you want).
