One of my favourite emcees of all time, Tumi aka T from the V Just shared this awesome video of a collabo he did with the French outifit Deluxe! In Hip Hop culture you don’t just use the term “nice”loosely.
Plain language “nice” is pleasant like how you would referto a cup of coffee or a breeze on a coastal morning. In Hip-Hop when I say Yo that boy NICE!
It’s an undoubted affirmation of creative skill! It’s me acknowledging that I completely and wholeheartedly agree with conviction that what you have created resonates within my being and I recognize it.

Nah. In fact Dude is MAD-NICE! That’s lifting the nice sentiment a few grades higher. I just stumbled on this dude’s music from…yes, you guessed it, OkayAfrica, and I couldn’t believe what I had just been served. My jaw was on the floor when I wrote this.
OKA premiered a video for his new single Fire and from the first gully funky drums to the first execution of dude’s singing and rapping I was in awe.
Dude is a proper triple threat and does what he does comfortably and seamlessly. The lyrics, styling, music and direction of the video are in complete synergy.
This dude is MadNice and I believe he’s gon’ blow the fuck up. Not popular culture status but Legacy status.
