It’s always bothered me. Anywhere, any time, any place, I just can’t stand that dreadful realization when someone has the same look as you! Even as a child I couldn’t understand how this happened. With an ethnicity compiled of 5+ countries I expected nothing for myself but true uniqueness. I was born one-of-a-kind and I knew it from day one. So why not appear that way? Maybe because the pressures of what society constructs to be fashionable or trendy. The thing is, I’ve never been big on trends or fads, I borderline despise them actually. I believe that when you have a sense of style, you like what you like and those pieces become timeless.

The funny thing about this is not my rebellion against social fashion constructs but the look on people’s face when I tell them “I HATE THE MALL!” … total shock. Malls are almost like a trap… to keep everyone inline and following a predetermined market setting like hamsters on a wheel. Nah bruh, I refuse. I have the hardest time convincing people that there ARE other options. As an entrepreneur, creative, and small business enthusiast, it’s beyond natural for me to know of boutiques here and there or local designers and merchants. Yet, trying to convince other people that life exists outside of the mall is like trying to show them a unicorn or convince them of a resurrected Tupac. Instead, I figured I’d take things into my own hands and prove it. These ideas birthed my newest event venture, called Easy on Sundays. Of course, light vibes and very chill just how I like it but I’m bringing out the hottest vendors fresh outta miami! Don’t believe me, come see for yourself.
