NOLA STREETSTYLE

Being a fashion enthusiast at the Essence Festival in New Orleans is like being a kid in a candy store. Black fashion, diverse influences, beautiful expression and one-of-a-kind styles fill the streets and truly become the ESSENCE of the city. 

Despite the 100 degree weather (yes, I’m exaggerating a bit) maxi skirts and maxi dresses were huge on the scene. African/tribal prints and bright colors seem to be  MUST for summer style. And in a time with so much to say, printed expression tees and custom cut or fringed pieces are simple but still speak volumes in style.
