While I was doing research for my post about the wax Jambu last month, I came across a blogpost about someone accidentally propagating a branch from the tree simply by putting it in a cup of water. So of course I tried. 3. Out of 5 branches survived and rooted. Definitely recommend removing all leaves from thhese cuttings as they seem to dry out eventually. They'll probably root alot faster that way. These were soaking in water for a little over two weeks. Seems a lot faster then air layering which was the previous method for propagating these.
