Instead of deep-frying spring rolls, try these Easy Spring Rolls instead. They are both tasty and better for you. They are air-fried until they are perfectly crispy and filled with a tasty chicken and vegetable mix.
Ingredients: 8 spring roll wrappers. 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded. 1 cup shredded cabbage. 1/2 cup shredded carrots. 1/2 cup bean sprouts. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon soy sauce. 1 teaspoon sesame oil. 1 teaspoon cornstarch. Oil spray for air frying.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Mix well. Lay a spring roll wrapper flat on a clean surface. Place a spoonful of the chicken and vegetable mixture in the center of the wrapper. Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling and then roll it up tightly. Seal the edge with a little water to ensure it sticks together. Repeat the process with the remaining spring roll wrappers and filling. Preheat your air fryer to 350F 180C. Lightly spray the spring rolls with oil and place them in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching each other. Air fry the spring rolls for 8-10 minutes, turning them halfway through, or until they are golden and crispy. Serve the air-fried spring rolls with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
