Orchard Rd, Singapore
Boon Tat, Singapore.
Every night 6pm this street in the financial district is closed off and turns into a mass street kitchen. We lived next door, 36th floors up you could still smell the hot coals. And that man, that man at the end with his own little caravan, makes Murtabak, a fried doughy mix of fat and stuffed with chicken curry, heaven at 3am after a long night out! The sting ray with chili sauce and lime at Boon Tat Street food was a go to dish as well, along with a large jug of Tiger beer and some bbq prawn skewers.
Club St, Singapore
Lollapalooza, Singapore.
Top dish: Burrata, honey, fejoa and serano ham. Devine!
For hawker food with air conditioning, Rasapura Masters in the basement of Marina Bay Sands offers some of Singapore’s most well known dishes and some its best stall holders in cool comfort.
