Fancy for a greenish environment to daze your afternoon with some Homemade Syrup and mouth-watering bread menu?
We got just a place for you! Lies within the deep amazon forest, just kidding, located at the street of Johor Bahru. Flowers In The Window is a cafe with flowers as their main theme. From all of the cafes that we have visited, Flowers In the Garden is by far with the most unique theme. By this we mean, who would have grow or place flowers in their cafe?? Only real flower lovers we can say!

Once we have walk in, the interior and exterior of the cafe makes us feel like living outside the concrete jungle. What a place to relieve some of those work and study stress. A side note, some people might find the place annoying because of the flowers and rather not pleasant with the diverse decorating of the cafe. But hey, leave a space for an open heart.
Famous for their home-made syrup. Whats make them special is the syrup is blended with Herb and Spices. This combination is mixed with Rosemary, Raspberry and Chili. The taste is refreshing with some spice flavors. Not a fan of exotic drinks ourselves, but it’s worth a try!

This is the combination of Rosemary, Chili and Lemon. The homemade herb and spice infused syrup are RM12.90 each.
Another talk point is Flowers In The Window has a menu section dedicated to Bread! Yes, bread lovers would definitely love this! Homemade Basil Pesto Bread at RM16.00. Crusty Bread with Pesto sauce, Mozzarella cheese and fresh Basil leaf as topping. The cafe is sure is a fan of herb!

One more bread menu that pleases us! Miso Beef Stew with Sourdough Bread. If you are looking for a rather full and heavy meal in the morning. This is it!
A mild sour taste bread accompanied with well portion and seasoned beef chunk would definitely make your morning feels better. However, it is quite pricey. To be honest, RM25.00 for a bread menu is not what we came for. Especially the serving size is just nice for 1 pax.

Miyakori Cafe is located in Bukit Indah which is nearby Aeon Bukit Indah. Yesterday, we “Journeyofjepy” were went there to take a tasted. After our grocery shopping, we decide to head toward the cafe before we heading back our sweet home.
Miyakori Cafe is a japanese style cafe; super adorable, using Japanese cartoon to design their cafe. The point is the food the serve are reasonable price and delicious !!!

Heads up people from Journeyofjepy, time to have some american food cravings. Yes! This time around, we are introducing one of our favorite american dining restaurant. We are sure you won’t be disappoint!
Started by 3 young owners who have learnt their traits in United States before returning to Malaysia to start the restaurant. Anmour Cafe serves different variety of dishes that are sure to suit your taste. The three main categories are Burgers, Pasta and Steaks.
Your meal will be started with warm buns with mushroom gravy (according to how many people on the table) as appetizer. This has been Anmour Cafe long tradition, we think this is one of reason why Anmour Cafe is well-loved!
Look at this BIGGGG portion of Burger. This is called Spicy Chicken Burger. It is highly recommended by us for you to try this because not only it is that big, the taste is awesome. Guess how much is it? Only Rm12.90. Frankly speaking, we’ll have this rather than McDonald!
One of their signature dish, Signature Rosemary Chicken Chop. Accompany with 2 side dishes of your choice ( we recommend you to take aglio olio & mashed potato), the combination and the taste of the food is absolutely delicious. This only cost you RM14.90.
Seafood Aglio Olio for only RM11.90!!! For pasta lovers, it is a MUST TRY!!
We end our meal with this satisfying dessert, Crazy Mud Pie!! The cold ice cream cake topped with chocolate sprinkles and sauce is a heavenly match. The dessert portion is big as well.
For us, the food here is really delicious and the price is affordable. Not only that, you get such a big portion in every meal. And that is not something taken for granted! The service crew is very polite and friendly. Even when there is a crowd, the team manage to handle the situation very well with very less waiting time for us. So, come on, bring along your foodies gang and give Anmour Cafe a hit!

Fixation on bears Then on the other hand, there’s this totally colourful wall of bears that don’t seem to gel well with the *i’m too cool for school* decor elsewhere. The designer in me kept scratching my head and wondering why why why?!! But at least the decor is much better than most of the other restaurants you can find in JB.

Beautifully done. Succulent soft shell crab, bathed in a slightly spicy cream sauce that was not too rich. The serving was just nice for lunch and DH lapped it all up. Amazing, since he too hates having spaghetti outside due to us overdosing on it most days.

Yes, we were totally unadventurous. But then, our reasoning were that if they can’t get this simple dish right, what else is edible? The verdict? we loved the chicken, it was cooked just right – crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. What we didn’t like were the dipping sauce which tasted awfully bland… like whipped butter without any seasoning. The salad had no dressing either. The dish came with a decent serving of fries and wedges. Nothing fancy there.

Yes it is, the ice cream in OIC is decorated with misty dry ice to make it ‘smokylicious’ and fun to watch. Oh! Ice cream is the phrase when you see it approaching your table!
With RM28, you can order their signature Ice Cream Hotpot a.k.a. I’m Hotpot, with 3 scoops of ice cream, 2 toppings, and one quarter of waffle. It is kinda a great deal but we are a little bit disappointed with the serving size tho considering the price.
Nevertheless, the ice cream in OIC tasted mushy and creamy. It is quite a delight eating it in a pot filled with dry ice effect. Not quite sure what brand of ice cream they are using but it sure is tasty! The taste combination is a great blend with the waffle, if only the waffle portion is bigger. Overall presentation is pleasant and neat. Definitely, Instagram-able material! HA!
So, are you looking for a day to cure your heat stroke or just a day to savor in delicious ice cream. OIC is a place for you! Chill out and let ice cream cruise you through the day~!

So, you will get 1 scrumptious meal, endless drinks and salads to close the deal. Talk about a one whole package! Their Wagyu beef patty burger is a MUST TRY!!
