Tonight at Twisted Pepper, Eatenbybears launch their new single Your Pet Is Dead which is free to download from Bandcamp as of today. It's a cool song, quite different to what they've released before with a slower beat. I posted the news of this last week...the gig's free in and support comes from Croupier who released one of this year's best albums.

I dunno if anyone else is thinking this but I'm gonna say it. What were they thinking with that ugly, ugly artwork? It looks *awful*. Honestly can't think of anything tackier than streaky mascara and blubbery lipstick. I'd rather see a dude cry with ropes of snot hanging out of his nose than this kind of lame design. Artwork's supposed to be a big selling point when it comes to music but this is a free download - and it's put me right off. Yuk.

Tour documentary of an international, instrumental rockathon from Kasper Rosa and Eatenbybears who went off to Portugal together this summer to perform together. Cue a tonne of thunderous noise fit to leave a trail of quavering palm trees in their wake.
Been a while since I saw either band perform but they play a free gig in the Black Box for Culture Night in Belfast tonight. Me, I'll have to wait until Eatenbybears play HWCH.
