Watch out NOLA, Cooter Browns has a new owner and a new kitchen and it's dope! Remember one of my favorite food trucks, Foodie Call? Well, the chef of that truck, Eric Theard, is permanently slinging goodness at Cooters, now! We seriously indulged this weekend and went all in on their menu when we learned Foodie Call's chef had taken over. Above are the cheese curds, boudin balls and buffalo chicken sandwich. The sandwich was absolutely perfect with a giant piece of buffalo chicken and topped with onion rings and cheddar. It was juicy but not too messy, which I love. The cheese curds (fried cheese) were out of this world, and I could've continued to eat those things the entire night. The boudin was also yummy but my top favorites were the buffalo sandwich and the cheese curds. If you've been looking for Foodie Call noms recently, you know where to find them: get to Cooter Browns!!

Mr. Bubbles is a Vietnamese Bahn Mi & bubble tea spot outside Hong Kong Market on the West Bank! First, if you haven't been to Hong Kong Market you have to make a trip. They have an extensive array of Asian foods and an awesome Latino/Hispanic section too. Next, after shopping grab yourself a Bahn Mi at Mr. bubbles. I got the veggie one with avocado and it was divine!

My burger was so good I forgot to take a picture! Seriously. Black Label Icehouse is a new BBQ place in Central City NOLA that we've been dying to try! We went New Years Eve and had the BBQ park belly poboy (divine) and the sex panther burger (AMAZING). All of their burgers are made with ground brisket so you know they're off to a great start. The sex panther burger is topped with smoked cheddar, pepper jelly and candied jalapeños. If you're a sweet and spicy kind of person like me, then this is your dream burger!! Side note- you can ask for a pretzel bun (I did)! Lastly, Wednesday is ladies night and they serve up lots of specials. I promise next time to take pictures, sorry my friends!

Ahhhh, Pizza Domenica...How you're carb loading soothes me so much. PD has been on Eaten Path before, but I'm back with updates. First, I learned that they allow half and half pizzas! This pleased me. Second, I tried the roasted cauliflower for the first time and it's as perfect as everyone says. Third, get yourself the Gorgonzola pizza. It has roasted peaches, speck (similar to prosciutto) and Gorgonzola (duh). The smoked pork was also great but I preferred the former. The top picture are the garlic knots and they come with a divine whipped goat cheese dipping sauce that I wish I could spread on everything in my life. PD has a half off pizza happy hour daily from 3-6 so you have no excuses not to try it!
