" mm ... i'm not sure about you, but i intend to dance to my heart's content instead of lingering around. " a girl's face without a name just yet, she gives Ozymandias a passing smile before partnering herself with another woman in dancing. and throughout the night, she would keep making eye contact with him. who would've known, that they'd encounter each other again a week later in his palace?
THERE WAS ONE PARTICULAR individual that held Ozymandias' attention, golden eyes periodically drifting in her direction and staring perhaps far longer than intended. Most of the time he held little interest in most people (why would he be interested in the masses?), people seen in groups rather than mere individuals, and yet, there was something about this person that was...different? Unique? It was difficult to explain even to himself why that particular word came to mind; however, he did kn0w that she stood out starkly against the background no different from a white flower blooming amidst a sea of red. Ozymandias did not follow after her, did not move from his spot when she announced that she would dance, but their eyes did meet a couple of times during the evening. Odd. All of this was quite odd...
He was overthinking.
Why sit here and give himself a headache over someone he would wind up forgetting over time? Eventually, that face and voice would fade away no differently from the echoing of a ghost. That was how it normally was when his intrigue moved on. Surely it would not be different now.
