ANDY WARHOL’S REAL DIET

Does @burgerking realize how weird their #eatlikeandy hashtag really is, given their product?

Andy did eat some fast food – especially at McDonald’s, once it opened across the street from his studio – but receipts show that he also ate plenty of exotic and very high-end meals, including Japanese (before almost anyone else in the U.S. was eating it), Mexican (ditto), and French haute-cuisine. (The evidence for whether he ever actually ate Campbell’s Soup is inconclusive.)

Then once he was shot and his guts got ruined, his favorite nourishment was the insides of chocolate-covered cherries,  sucked out of their chocolate coating!

So to “eat like Andy” is to eat WEIRD!
