Hot take but a lot of people focus more on Lance's edgelordedness and his fascist imagery (for concerning reasons im afraid) and not a lot of them focus on his backstory and trauma and it kinda irks me because there's so much potential for it and his (admittedly barebones) characterization for interesting fan content and everyone just overlooks it as "redhead with gun :3"

there is no shame in playing zero difficulty. Anyways Lance has helped me realise that I may, in fact, be a guy. Shame about the whole facist thing, but hey! That’s what his growth throughout the story (and aus, and fanfics) are for!

Lance is my favorite EBF character, and that's something I have a hard time admitting nowadays due to the fascist imagery that follows him around. That and well, his writing can be very... baaad... (glares at EBF4 Lance specifically). Note, none of that has anything to do with why he's my favorite, just to clarify. I don't condone ANY of his immoral actions. (We bully him for his evilness.) I just think he's a silly edgelord and a fascinating character to examine. (Plus he was one of my earliest childhood crushes since EBF3 and admittedly I still simp for him lol-)

no offense to lance x anna but i imagined that they had a father daughter like relationship but then i saw the fandom and went oh btw it's not a bad ship but ive made it awkward for myself

tbh same but in reverse for natalie and anna i thought they had a thing going on till someone in game said they were like sisters which also made me have an oh moment
