A sigh of relief left her lips, “Of course I am. I can’t have you bleeding out or something of the like.”

"I regenerate though, Eb. It's not like I'm gonna die here."

Ebony pulls away, furiously blushing, “I— Forgive me.”

[I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR DIS DAY. LAFFS.]

   He watches her, amused by the sudden shyness after such a bold act. He won't admit to being taken off guard or the fact that he did not hate such displays as much as he thought he would. She always had a way of making him second guess his prior thoughts.

          "....There is no need to apologize. I was fine with---it."

Leave me the URL of someone you ship my character with and I’ll write a drabble about them.

      "That would be rather unfortunate,” a small sort of chuckle escapes the elf as he listens to the woman’s tale. The two had taken it upon themselves as of late to greet the rising sun with one another as neither were truly capable of a good sleep. Usually they would sit and chat, a bottle of wine between them in an attempt to rid the loneliness residing in an empty house brings.

     "Don’t you think? I was taken by surprise when I noticed a cat running off with it," she sighs before taking a sip of the alcohol. "I’ll buy another the next time I’m at the market. I won’t be fooled by a cat again that’s for certain." He couldn’t control himself as he chuckles again before taking a sip of wine as well. Perhaps it was the wine taking its effect on him but he could not help but feel rather comfortable in her presence; enough so the be able to laugh freely.

     "I was unaware that cats were our new threat concerning jewelry theft," he teases and watches her look away from him in an almost embarrassed sort of way.

     "I suppose it does sound rather silly out loud but it definitely was a cat!" An almost peaceful smile takes over him finding a great amusement in today’s chat. She wasn’t aware of how much he enjoyed these tales, the lighthearted ones especially for he had none of those to share or think about.

     A nonchalant shrug leads into his comment of how he found the story to be interesting and that perhaps he would accompany her the next time she went so he could see this cat in action himself. He doesn’t even notice how normal that felt to say as if he had said it so many times before—-Usually he would wait for her to invite him first. She didn’t seem to mind it however as she smiled in response before turning her gaze to the rising sun.

    His focus remained on her—-Watching how peaceful her face looked while watching the sunrise. Calm. Comfortable…When did he begin feeling like this? That swirling storm that made up his persona was seemingly nonexistent with her around, lack of sleep not even the slightest bit important. This was something he had begun to truly enjoy and this peaceful hobby the two have formed had begun to be the thing he looked forward to to get by. Sure he was aware that not everything between the two would hold this peaceful feeling but he was content with the slight bit he was given. And just like the rising sun, she had begun to light up the darkened night he was.

Ebony remained silent when he spoke, her fingers traced over the risen mark lightly. It wasn’t until a few seconds later that she pulled away her hand, aware that his scars might be something that he would rather not talk about, “Forgive me.”

He simply shook his head, offering a small smile.

"You're fine. I trust you enough with that sort of thing unlike most strangers who touch my face," he reassured.
