Losing my McFucking™ mind over this audiobook narrator not knowing how to pronounce archipelago 🤣🤣🤣
Okay I'm new to like. Romance romance, as opposed to it being a b plot, but it seems a bit poor pacing to have 3 sex scenes back to back at the 75% point. Like I get that you can't get to it too early or it's erotica and that's a whole different genre with different conventions, but it seems like. Idk. A lot. Especially when the rest of the plot goes on hold while they recover and have a next date and like maybe 200 words later they're back at it. Idk I actually liked the first scene in this one, which is a 100% improvement from the last book (which had the same pacing), but the other two didn't really add much. Idk I skipped the last one.
I'm obsessed with her.
It took her like 3 hours (probably over a week in universe) to put together that, since he's the same age as her, when he published that fake paper 15 years ago that everyone says he did to ShAmE theoretical physicists he was in high school, and he keeps trying to lead her to the right conclusion without spelling it out for some reason (but how would we have a romcom without poor communication?) and the idea that he just wanted to put his ideas out there with his ~science oshis, whatever you'd call that, the people he was a fan of, the idea is RIGHT THERE but she can't make that teeny tiny jump and its so frustrating and i love her so much
Also the roommate is the greatest person I've ever heard tbh. The smartest AND the dumbest, I love her.
I love this technology where I can put 1200 books on my phone and still have space for 8700 more 🥰🥰🥰
Murderbot Diaries #2: Artificial Condition: 7/10
I always feel weird doing these diary entries when I have nothing to say. The widely regarded good book is good! I liked it!!
