Well, the dive into the recent past (around the time of Vendy's birth) is complete! From here on the narrative will be more or less linear.

As you can see, I stopped forgetting about the drawing on the Burned's face, but I forgot to remove the sketch, haha

I hope you'll forgive me for forgetting about the symbol on the Burned's face on the last two pages. If I sit down to redo them, it will take God knows how long 😞

Some info dump:

Celestial Heralds are a rare species of dragon that live on a small volcanic archipelago. Their culture has acquired some distortions over the centuries of isolation, although not as much as that of the Mountain Clan of Night Furies. The most important thing is that they completely deny magic, the Great Empress, Jormungandr and other indisputable facts of the history of their world. They worship a dormant volcano and do not tolerate dissent. Inferno was only able to survive thanks to his father, who is the last known Mage of the Eclipse and is therefore under the protection of the Archmage.

And here is the page I redesigned. It's not that I wanted to change the atmosphere, rather, after fixing the mistakes, I just couldn't decide which option was better

Literally my logic:

Pick up the trend and draw Donnie in overalls: nah🙂‍↔️🫸

Draw something based on your AU, which no one knows about: sounds good😌👌

The commander-in-chief of the Rebellion Maima and his adopted son Inferno.

..At least Maima himself perceives Inferno as a son. Inferno considers him a "father figure". He respects him, learns from him, obeys him as a senior in rank. No more. Because unlike, for example, Karharis or Vendy, he remembers his biological father and misses him. Inferno believes that his real father is still alive.
