Eccentrich "Hush" Eccentrich was born and raised in Pompano Beach Fl. She is the founder and host of Cuisines & Poetry for the last 3 years. She proudly hosts shows throughout the Broward county area, she has also performed and graced the stages of over 45 venues from Florida to California. Eccentrich is currently the 14th ranked female poet in the world. She has opened for renowned poet Asia Samson. She published her first novel in December of 2015. Eccentrich was a part of a Burn Beautiful Slam Team who finished 10th at the 2016 Southern Fried Regional Competition. She is also a part of team Dada who finished 2nd place in group finals in the nation rankings at the 2016 National Poetry Slam. Eccentrich has been recently honored to have a poem displayed by Button Poetry. Eccentrich is also the founder of The poetry pipeline series, where she goes into prisons facilitating workshops and showcasing spoken word poetry, with other poets. When she is not busy in the performing arts world, her greatest and most rewarding job is being the mother of 2 beautiful boys. Always real and always willing to help, her big voice pales in comparison to her big heart and she is looking forward to what the future brings.
