A Catholic Witch

Sometimes we do everything in our power to follow a certain path. Raised a Catholic I was expected to follow traditional rituals and those alone. Throughout the years those rituals have changed and even before then there were rituals done because of the result of cultural appropriation that had been done centuries ago. I am not confused. When I pray I pray to God. He is mother nature. He is the God of people and of luck and of health. To me he rules all. He creates miracles that only science can explain. The ways in which I pray are different. They focus on putting thoughts into the universe and wishing them to be so. I believe that as people we have power through intention and the stronger we practice the more power we hold in our thoughts and in our words. I believe there is a heaven, a hell, a God, and a devil. Where my intentions and thoughts are my prayers, my actions are my soul. I do not see a problem with a Catholic being a witch or a witch being a Catholic even while Wiccans do not believe in God or the devil. Just as Catholics believe in only one God. Just as we have done before for a majority of religions, I am taking pieces of both.
