So I was waiting in the truck while my bro ran into a hardware store to grab a thing. Next thing I knew I see this big pretty blossom sneaking up from the corner of the passenger window, wiggling at me while he was squatting and hiding. Of course I was grinning and yelling at how pretty the damn surprize was, especially since he knew how much I liked sunflowers and similar looking plants.
It's actually an echinacea hybrid with a rudbeckia! AKA echibeckia. This variant in particular is a summerina.
It looks like a cross between a sunflower and an echinacea and I love it! 💜
