A video so you can get the idea of how I made those marzipan chocolate pine cones! The chocolate part is just a batch of regular brownies - I just reduced the sugar a bit and added some almond meal. Then you just crumble it up shape it to make your pinecone base to stick the chocolate cereal into! You don’t have to put marzipan in the middle, but I love it 🥰

So I've gotten back into my craft and I've meditated and studied and I have felt a draw to Hestia as a deity I have for a while there were no signs like random fires or anything just a draw the more I dove into myth the more I felt compelled to start working with her and she has helped me not just in my craft but domestically the food I make tastes better and when I clean its more thorough if you have any resources on her or experience working with her and could give me advice it would be much appreciated

Binding Someone’s Negative Action By @HearthWitch(YT)

Ingredients

Pen (for writing)

Black thread or electrical tape (banishing)

Photograph of only the person (or any taglock)

Note: Emotionally-driven; 100% want the behavior to stop

Instructions:

Focus on picture all of your hatred, anger.

Name the picture (person’s full name) aloud.

Tell the picture what they have done and why you need it to stop, as if it is the actual person.

Flip over the image, write at the very top their full birth name and date of birth. This links the image to the person.

Write what you want to stop and why it needs to stop.

Feel the anger and hatred about their behavior.

Turn paper/image 90 degrees counterclockwise.

Sign your name 3x (three times) across. Put your energy into your signature.

Fold the image in half with the picture/image inside.

Continue to think and feel the intention (what you want to stop and why it needs to stop).

Turn clockwise.

Roll the paper up.

Take the black thread and loop away from you, make it tight around the image/paper.

Focus on binding the behavior: You are the thread. They are the image.

Chant: Full name. Date of birth. I will bind you. I will bind your actions, full name. (REPEAT)

Knot the end of the thread. Do 9 knots in total. For each knot, state:

I bind you once to stop the negative action against (who).

I bind you twice for (reason).

I bind you thrice (or three times) for (reason).

I bind you four times for (reason).

I bind you five times for (reason)

I bind you six times for (reason)

I bind you seven times for (reason).

I bind you eight times for (reason).

I bind you nine times ro stop the negative action against (who).

Note: can do multiple bindings. Can bury or burn. The thread can loosen around six (6) months.

A Simple Binding Spell by HearthWitch

Be angry and emotional for this spell.

Need: - A pen - Black thread - A small picture of who you're binding (no filters)

Write on the back of the picture their full name and birth date then what you're binding them from

Speak it out loud, to the picture, what you're binding them from

Fold the picture in half and roll it up away from you, picture on the inside you if you miss a spot no one will know who you've bound

Wrap the black thread around it covering every inch of it, saying their name, birthday, and what you're binding them from. Be angry and frustrated. Enter a trance. Make it as tight as possible.

Tie it off and hide it somewhere safe. The binding will start to loosen after 4 to 6 months and can be added to once more to secure it again.

Forgotten Household Crafts by John Seymour

For those of you that really enjoy the old, forgotten, historical, and maybe even off grid home life. I highly recommend this book! Not as a 'How To' but rather as a sort of encyclopedia or catalogue.

There's a lot of neat information on tools and such in this book, lot of which are very much forgotten and hard to pin point for names or key words to begin searching and studying from, as well as to identify objects in real life.

As we gently emerge from the transformation of winter, it is time to think about the seeds we are sowing this imbolc.
