On Friday I left job at 4.15pm after a crazy interesting review with the team and went to Basel with a train. It takes one hour to get to Basel and one hour to cross the Switzerland border! I visited the opening of the exhibit “Hello, Robot" in Germany! The exhibition was packed of the best Swiss designers and offered the best food and spumante. I met my friend Philipp, a super talented designer that I met last November. He and his friend were exhibiting a piece!

"My inspiration for the Missing Rung sadly came out of my research and the shadow lands of Hiroshima. I found an old disregarded farm ladder and decided to paint it white and attach LED lights either side, representing the light from the atomic bomb, but also the white ladder presented to me an escape route and somehow it looked very peaceful and almost spiritual when lit up. The black sprayed reflection of the very same ladder showed the world of Hiroshima after the effects of war. So it was very much my reaction to POST Hiroshima."
