Anyway here's something I've been working on with the help of @bubbleberryuniverse !

HEAVY OK KO SPOILERS BELOW!!!

The basic premise is that Laserblast unknowingly had some strange, alien genes in him. It was after the experimentation that his vision worsened, and he began to turn purple. But he didn't think anything of it, thinking they were just side effects (much like his canon memory loss from Shadowy Figure).

When Shadowy Figure formed, he was completely blind. He relies on echolocation to get around, and his other senses are heightened. He kept all of Professor Venomous's alien traits hidden, as a part of his attempts to keep himself hidden away. He looked into their origins, and over the past couple of years has located the planet they came from, learned their language and so forth.

KO unfortunately got stuck with these genes, although they remained mostly dormant until Shadowy Figure unleashed TKO for the first time. The transformation was absolutely agonizing as a tail and wings sprouted from his back. However, as soon as KO took control again, the wings almost melted away. After this, he found his already terrible vision had worsened, but his other senses had improved significantly.

TKO, like Shadowy Figure, is completely blind. His other senses are incredibly heightened, causing him to be easily over stimulated. He has no levitation ability, instead having a small pair of wings.

Both TKO and KO can be seen wearing ear plugs, or noise reducing headphones in situations where there's lots of noise! And eventually end up getting a guide animal to assist them. PKO and MKO also still happen! While not completely blind like TKO, neither of them can see well at all. Their vision is even worse than KO's. PKO's wings are larger than both TKO and MKO's, throwing them severely off balance until they learn how to fly as PKO.

Shadowy Venomous can still do the same things he does in Let's Fight to The End and so forth, however, he is almost completely blind (much like PKO). His senses aren't much better than Shadowy Figure's are, and he is genuinely very manipulative.

While this AU isn't canon divergent, it's not completely canon either! Canon Echo!KO and Echo!TKO are completely unaware of the ask blog, or anons.
