I lowkey got inspiration from three songs I just listened to. So I made this cuz I need to write more after being gone for so long. 🥲

AU ideas because I'm bored AF
1. Traveling Circus AU
Echo is part of a traveling circus in this AU. I would think she's either a strong man, trapeze, or even a Contortionists.
Draxum didn't want much to do with her from the moment she was created, so she ran away at a young age. She had found a circus in the Hidden City and was greeted with nothing but kindness by the members of the circus. Echo then joined soon after.
After years of being in the circus, Mars joins and she still dies just not by Echo's hands. But Echo blames herself for it because she had the opportunity to save her but didn't take it in time. Eventually the magician of the circus (you know who) gets in trouble with the turtles and the turtles find the circus during an performance. Which caused them to meet Echo while she was doing her act. Then it all goes on from there.

2. Reincarnation AU
This AU is pretty complicated but I love it so much along with the Traveling Circus AU way too much not to talk about it.
I know Echo was created in a "lab" by Draxum but I had a way to explain this in a way it does sort of make sense. BTW all the events are the same just a lot more tension between Splinter and Echo and after the whole Krang incident, a lot happens.
Ok so, Echo is the reincarnation of an extremely powerful deity from a different clan that was allies with the Hamato Clan. "But Echo was made in a lab, how would that even work?" I hear you asking. Well I will explain just that to you! I like to imagine when the deity died (I don't have much about them yet) their soul looked for the nearest and best vessel it could find. So they took Echo as their vessel.
This also adds more trauma and angst because it gives Echo way too many identity crisis'. Also Splinter knows about the deity because I said so. To add more angst a whole situation happens while they try to take down a Krang level threat, they find a weapon and since the said deity died while also being a vessel for the said weapon, Echo is now the vessel for than weapon which causes absolute chaos but she learns to control it.
