This was take 2 of a concept I’d tried before. That’ll be under the cut. Also under the cut will be some g.ore talk. Also also under the cut will be some Good Christian Boy images, all tastefully cropped but you will absolutely know what’s happening just off-page

Sanguine’s whole thing w Echo is that he feels awful for branding them right. Mora branded them first, so now Sanguine branding them at least gives the a chance at getting pulled into the Myriad before Mora can nab their soul, if Sam is fast enough of course. But Sam doesn’t like it. He branded Martin before and hates that he used that against Martin, hates that he held it over Martin’s head as a threat, hates who he used to be when he knew Martin.

But this time Sam is letting his shame go. He tells Echo that he can’t wait for them to die, he can’t wait to lay claim over their soul, if only so that in their undeath he can ensure their body doesn’t die — and that way he can open them up and they can lock their ribs together with his, they can both share the same air, they can feel the other’s heartbeat with no barriers. Sam wants to get confused on where he ends and Echo begins. And at the end of the night he wants to pull out of them and patch them up and lick them clean, and he’ll daydream about doing it over and over again. Doesn’t that sound nice? Are you as impatient as me?||
