Ok uh..I’ll just keep working then?
Yeah. I’m blowing a kiss your way, I hope it helps you with work motivation.

When are we having dinner, sir?
Just stay in my office and when I go home, you come home with me and then we can have dinner.
"Oh Come On You Look Cute."
Send me “Oh Come On You Look Cute” for my muse in a randomly generated costume. 9: Kimono
“Are you sure?” Hugo said. “I feel like I’m wearing pajamas. Or a dress. Or...”
He turned around in the mirror. He couldn’t help but think this was all an elaborate joke. He’d never had to wear this kind of getup for any kind of deal before.
“I don’t think I’m supposed to be cute. I’m supposed to be...” he trailed off and frowned.
[Text] I'm still not better....You said to let you know... (Naga!Rhys)
Hugo rang Rhys’s doorbell.
He had brought with him a dozen eggs, a take-out box of fish and chips, a bucket of fried chicken, and two six-packs -- one of soda, one of beer.
He didn’t know what snakes liked.
“You’ll stay alone if you push others away.”
Hugo sucked in a breath, and the air hissed between his teeth.
It had been more than a day since Hugo had confessed everything -- everything -- that he had felt for Rhys. All because of some blasted collar.Hugo didn’t know how it had happened; all of a sudden it was over, and the truth was out there.
The horrifying realization set in quickly afterward. This wasn’t a door to Hugo’s soul that had been gradually opened for Rhys, no.It had been torn from his hinges, never to be replaced. It was a brick wall that had turned to glass, and threatened to shatter.
Hugo had told Rhys he loved him. That he felt like he needed him. That he contrastingly was so afraid to lose him -- or afraid to be hurt by him, or rejected, or alone -- that he kept his distance. That he didn’t want to share Rhys because he thought he would find someone better than Hugo. That Hugo would be forced to confront that there was someone better --
It was so much truth, raw, unfiltered truth that Hugo was shellshocked when he realized he had said it all. Things he hadn’t even admitted to himself. How had he said it all to Rhys?
And so Hugo had retreated. Secluded himself, avoiding Rhys. Because everything was different now, wasn’t it? Hugo had unwittingly, foolishly, recklessly handed Rhys the ammunition for Hugo’s own destruction.
He was nursing an emotional hangover. Recovering from emotional whiplash.
His head rested against the door of his apartment, Rhys waiting on the other side. And Rhys’s words were what made Hugo let him in:
“You’ll stay alone if you push others away.”
@echo-eyed-rhys I'll give you a kiss if you come over for dinner.
