concept: instead of the old woman woman dying in vlr, it’s tenmyouji. (major spoilers under the cut)

So then we get a version of the game where quark’s greiving the loss of his grandpa, he’d probably latch onto Akane entirely. They came to the moon to find her, Junpei would talk about her sometimes, how he’d spent his life looking for her. Quark wants to hate her, because she’s the reason that they came here, but he sees her face when they find Junpei’s body, and he can’t.

So then, because he doesn’t know what else to do, he starts calling her grandma. He’s at her side constantly, because she’s the closest thing he has to a trustworthy adult. He knows he can’t really trust her, considering if they hadn’t come to find her then grandpa would’ve never died, but he can’t distrust her either.

but then.

imagine when he breaks down from the radical-6.

instead of screaming about needing to escape, he’s screaming about wanting to find grandpa. He has to find grandpa, why’d he leave before me, why’d he leave me all alone. The group manages to sedate him, but nobody is able to speak. because while it was the virus, it was also his deepest sadness and worries just coming crashing to the surface.

but then, imagine the yellow door timelines, where phi and sigma stop dio. Junpei’s disappeared completely, and quark’s visibly distressed. It’s still Kyle in the armor, in this timeline Luna comes out and sedates junpei before the game starts. He’s put into the pod, just like Kyle was, but then when they get him out, it’s such a tearful reunion. 

Neither sigma nor phi can bring themselves to tell Quark about the other timelines, but Junpei already has an idea. His shift might not be as strong anymore, but it’s still there. He can still get echoes over the morphogenetic fields, and he knows that he died here, on other timelines.

im not sure if he and akane would be able to work things out this time or not, but just. This’d be absolutely horrible.

major vlr spoilers under the cut, also angst and feels from headcanons

so headcanon that after Sigma made Luna on the VLR timeline, sometimes once Kyle’d gone to bed he’d go to the lounge, and start drinking. He’d get drunk pretty easily, and Luna would always come in to look after him, and every time he’d start calling her Diana.

He’d cry into her lap, sobbing and asking what he’d done wrong, why she had to die, asking her if she hated him, and every time she just calmly tells him that no, she could never hate him.

Sometimes he remembers it, and he figures it’s just because of her programming, but she knows differently. She’s a robot, but he programmed her with the ability to feel- she knows that she’s not the one he loves, and that he’ll never love her, but she loves him despite that and wants to take care of him

imagine, after the AB game, Kyle talks to Luna. He’s found out what happened in the other timelines, he’s learned all about the younger Sigma and what he was like, and for some reason he can’t bring himself to hate Luna anymore. Part of him doesn’t know why- Luna’s just a tool, just a robot made by his bastard of a father who never payed any attention to him- but she never did anything wrong. Even when Kyle turned her away, she still tried to care for him- he’s always assumed it was part of her programming, but he saw what happened when everyone died, and he realized that there was more to her than just coding.

so they talk, and it’s crazy awkward at first, but they eventually become friends- Siblings, really. They both know they can never really be what Sigma wanted, they both know that there’s things that are always going to be wrong about them, that they’re ‘fake’, but at least they have one friend in the world.

Imagine Kyle deciding he wants to go to earth with Tenmyouji, Quark, Alice, and Clover, and Luna says she wants to go with them. They’ve never been to earth, but on earth there’s something they can do- Luna has plenty of medical knowledge, and Kyle was studying with Sigma for a long time, together they can help.

So imagine them as the awkward newcomers in town, strange siblings-who-aren’t-really-siblings who’re just trying to do their best in this world that was never meant for them, and making it their own.

concept: Phoenix and Edgeworth are getting married. It’s a small reception but very nice, and it’s gotten to the point where the official prolly the judge lol says for anyone who ojbects to this marriage speak now, or forever hold their peace.
