The first #echobaydoryskiff of my professional boatbuilding career MkII has been shrink wrapped and heads tomorrow to her new owner in Virginia. It's been a great deal of fun, challenge, and learning to figure out how to build these boats to the degree of finish that I expect AND be profitable. This one has both rigs, the standing lug and the spritsail rig. Wonderful visit this weekend to customers turned friends. Tevere and his son Sam built their own #echobaydoryskiff in a week long class at WoodenBoat. They use it often at their cottage in Maine.
