Murphy and Echo (someone commented on my original post)
Okay, I do consider myself to be a multishipper, but I don't ship these two romantically at all.
However, platonically? Yes yes yes. Murphy + Echo are literally my brotp.
In canon, they do get a few interactions (s5 and after) which clearly show the relationship they've formed over the six years in space. They also innately trust each other- like in 6x11 when Murphy communicates to Echo using Trig and she immediately catches on.
In fanfic, I'd love to see more of this friendship, especially in modern AUs! Echo and Murphy are super similar when it comes to their psyches, and I'd love to see this explored more.
Overall, I love this ship platonically! Also I love their ship name, Echophy! :D
