Painful headcanon

Morty has gotten quite good at masking his feelings whenever someone brings up his parents too much in one conversation. There are days when he actually feels ok talking about them, but certain subjects involving them (i.e. his father's death) is still touchy. He has come to terms with it, but still has a tendency to dwell on it for a little while.

Family headcanon

Morty's grandmother is without a doubt the most important person in his life. Though she is fairly active for someone her age, Morty can't help but worry about her health. Perhaps it is because he lost his parents early, that he wants his grandmother (and grandfather) to live as long as possible. He has other relatives from his father's side, but he doesn't often see him.
