Since I joined the SPN Family I’ve made a lot of amazing friends, and I’m proud to count Ship among them. When they’re not making me laugh with gloriously crafted puns, or parenting their adorable child-spawn, they can be often be found writing some truly fantastic Destiel fics. So, in honor of Ship’s birthday I thought I’d give a shout-out to three of my favorite fics! I highly recommend you check them out!

Remarkable - It’s only Castiel’s first day as a teacher at All City Elementary in Sioux Falls, and he’s already been warned by four teachers, the guidance counselor, the principal, and the librarian to watch out for Ben Braeden’s father. Unluckily for Castiel, Dean turns out to be just as “helpful” as everyone’s said, bringing in stacks of literature and just as many ideas for how Mr. Milton can encourage his students to be more socially conscious. Castiel dismisses him every time with hardly a second thought.
When Ben brings in his Patriot Day essay assignment, Mr. Milton can't help but change his mind.
Orange You Glad - Dean hates farmers markets and everything that they stand for. However, following a conversation with a new friend, an aptly-timed epiphany, and some impromptu pie-sharing, Dean's definitely rethinking that opinion.
What exactly does ECKC stand for, and what is it? Just some fic writers who are friends? Or is it something others can get involved in?
I’ve actually answered the first question before. I’ve answered the third, as well.
As to the second question, yes, we’re a group of authors/artists/fanpersons that became good friends. Essentially, we hang out in a Skype chat and yell about shipping and fandom, beta and cheer on each other’s work, and share pornography. This occasionally often spills over onto Tumblr and Twitter.

So I had a dream last night that Bettycon 2.0 was happening, except it was at my house. And even more except that I didn't know about it until ephemeralcastiel, bettydays, agentfreewill, and shiphitsthefan showed up on my doorstep. viscouslover apparently wasn't there (what else did you have to do, Sach? Sheesh!). habitatfordeanwinchester wasn't there, either, but I can only assume she had to work lol. Fun dream, though strange because timelines were all kinds of messed up. But I think the short of it is that I miss you dorks!

The past two weeks have been busy for fandom. First was the release of the Captain America: Civil War trailer; it was a time of great flailing. Next was the deadline and the subsequent art claims for the DCBB, which caused much nail-biting.
