(Eclair x Cherry Blossom) Headcannons!!

-They met at a sakura tree park in the center of the Parfeadia City

-Eclair was just taking a walk and decided to sit down under this big tree in the center of the park and read over some of his history research he brought with him

-he was just chillin there when he felt a tap on his shoulder and heyyy it’s Cherry Blossom!!

-she explains that the tree he was under was her usual picnic spot and if it was okay if she set up near him

-Eclair is totally fine with this and even apologetic about sitting in her spot, but then she says something along the lines of “hey I was actually supposed to have this picnic with my two sisters but they had made other plans and couldn’t come with me, but I hate being alone on picnics and i dont want all this extra food to go to waste sooo did you maybe wanna join me?” 🌸

-Eclair’s a little hesitant at first but he agrees to the offer and the two have a great time! Blossom actually asks about what he was working on and Eclair got to ramble a little about his research and she also got to ramble about her picnic set-up!

-so now they’re really good friends and really enjoy spending time together! Cherry Blossom likes to invite Eclair on outings and Eclair showed Blossom his museum.

-Eclair finds Blossom to be like a breath of fresh air. He’s always so busy with his museum and teaching that he never really gets to catch a break, but he never realized how overworked he was until Blossom became his friend.

-and Cherry Blossom is actually not the best at socializing?? Like she gets along great with her sisters but meeting new cookies to her is hard because she tends to be extremely blunt with others and fails to read the room. Also her temperament issues certainly don’t help. But Eclair is a much more mellow and understanding individual who can actually relate to her about socializing. Plus now she has another person besides her family to go on picnics with!!

-Cherry Blossom was the first to catch feelings and she went into BIG denial about it. She was scared because she knows damn well she isn’t perfect and because she wasn’t perfect then to her that meant it was inevitable before she’d hurt him in some way and of course she wanted to avoid that. Also this was one of her best friends and absolutely did NOT want to risk losing him

-Eclair caught feelings a few months after Blossom did and he didn’t know how to feel about it. He was excited, but Eclair has been in some not so great relationships in the past and those experiences made him hesitant about opening up again.

-so Blossom is now acting more on edge around Eclair and he notices that she’s acting strange and gets worried that something might be wrong or even maybe if HE did something wrong

-eventually Eclair asks her what’s wrong on one of their picnics and she gets all flustered and tries to deny anything’s wrong but he can tell something is definitely up

-at this point Eclair has convinced himself that he had done something so starts apologizing for making her upset and to just tell him what it is he did

-and Cherry Blossom is just staring at him wide eye shocked like “oh my god i’ve been making him think this was his fault im so freakin stupid” so SHE starts apologizing about making HIM worry and it’s just a mess of a conversation lol

-this goes on for like 10 minutes but eventually they both stop and realize how ridiculous they’re being and Eclair starts to laugh, which in turn makes Cherry Blossom laugh and now they’re laughing together

-annnnnddd that’s when the two confess at the same time! it was incredibly awkward for them both but they accepted each other and became offical!!

-Now here’s where the fun begins :)

-They still go on picnics every week and it’s usually under the big sakura tree where they both met and confessed!

-on top of picnics they also enjoy taking strolls together, visiting various cafes around the city, and feeding ducks (Blossom often has to scare off the mean ducks when they do this)

-during their nighttime picnics Cherry Blossom likes to bring her radio and put on music to dance to. The first time she did this Eclair was incredibly hesitant and even a bit embarrassed about dancing with her, but he learned to love it

-oh and don’t think they’re all graceful like, these two are laughing the entire time and stumbling over each other and missing every step but they’re having fun and that’s all that matters to them

-Eclair has learned how to comfort Blossom if her temperament starts to get the best of her. He’s taught himself how to remove themselves from the situation along with several breathing and management exercises to help her regain her focus

-Blossom has also learned how to listen to comfort Eclair whenever he remembers something traumatic that’s happened to him (guy’s been through a lot in my fanon)

-Eclair gets REALLY red when he blushes. Like we’re talking tomato red blush. So Eclair is usually trying to hide his face and Blossom finds this absolutely adorable.

-Blossom also love Eclair’s long hair. She likes combing it and she subconsciously strokes his ponytail at every chance she gets

-Blossom taught Eclair how to cook! He knew how to cook before-hand but he wasn’t necessarily the best. But now he helps her in the kitchen! He chops up all the produce and helps assemble, but he has this fear of the stove so Blossom does the actual cooking part (she doesn’t mind)

-When Eclair introduced Blossom to his siblings she was very scared but Eclair assured her that she’s be able to get along fine with both of them

-and boy was he right because Blossom soon learned that she could show her more perfectionist and elegant side around Earl Grey and her more spunky and mischievous side with Rougefort. She became like a social chameleon!!

-Rougefort and Cherry Blossom are now an unstoppable sibling-in-law duo and you cannot tell me otherwise. fear them.

“what the hell, Rougefort?!… Ofc I do!!!” 🌸

-Eclair met Cherry Cookie while him and Blossom were still friends and when he did he was incredibly overwhelmed, but also a little charmed?

-he’s constantly afraid she was going to blow something up, but her spunkiest and energy intrigued him and he truly admires her passionate spirit!

-Eclair and Cherry’s sibling-in-law dynamic is the funniest thing and Blossom loves to watch Eclair try and keep up with her sister. Eclair also gets anxious whenever Cherry is inside the museum.

-Blossom will not hesitate to kill for Eclair. If you make him upset you better decide on what flowers you want cause Blossom’s already digging your grave

-They both easily get jealous for each other, which isn’t they’re most flattering trait and can strain their relationship a little, but no relationship is perfect and they’re trying to work on it

-oh and they love dress shopping together. The two can spend HOURS in a single store and it will drives the employees crazy
