Dear Lasership Captain
You drive me crazy and I love it. I have the biggest crush on you, you should see me run to the phone or feel how fast my heart starts beating when you send me a message. It could be the world’s most mundane messages too. “Set some chicken out to thaw” “We need toilet paper” and I’d be damned if I said I didn’t have the most exciting time reading them.
The facts that you moved a very far distance to be here, we live together, and that I get to call myself yours makes me immeasurably happy. Since day one you’ve given me a happiness that I wasn’t sure actually existed. You’ve also given me so much more; you’ve helped me grow as a person, shown me that talking to strangers isn’t so bad, and have taught me so much about life and how to enjoy it regardless of fears or insecurities.
I want to thank you, Captain. I want to thank you for all you’ve given and done for me. I want to thank you for how grand you make my days. To this ship, you brought a wondrous life.
I know this ship isn’t going to fly its self. And I know I haven’t made it particularly easy. I will do all that is in my power to repay you and hopefully bring to you what you have brought to me.
I love you, Captain.
