She knew that this was coming, sooner or later. It was what she came all the way here for after all... to make sure no one would suffer the way she, or her mother, Bianca and all the others did...
But watching as the man who she once called uncle gather his shadow powers... time came to a stop for the little girl. All her training, new powers... anything and everything got pushed back in her memory with the fear of what she wasn't ready to face, and she shut her eyes tight.
But the attack never came. Instead, for reasons she can't explain, she was suddenly feeling warm and safe... "Geez... all kinds of creep came out tonight..." Rin's eyes popped open at the sound of the voice, and widened as she saw the figure standing right in front of her in a protective stance. Was she... dreaming...? Was it already over? "Hey, you okay?" the young man asked, looking behind from his shoulder. 'Dad...?' the girl thought as her heart skipped a beat, not trusting her voice to say the word out loud. Could she really be that lucky...? Tears filled into her eyes as she was unable to take her eyes away from him.
