SWTOR Legacy Spreadsheet

Hey all, Eclipse here with... not quite a game asset, but definitely an asset in your arsenal to help keep track of your OCs, be they many or few, and some suggestions to help you really think about who they are and how life goes for them.

I take suggestions for editing the base linked here, but it's honestly good to go and only be tweaked as you need. I suppose there might be a particular section that needs to be edited if you have a lot of OCs per page but it's not a difficult thing to do once you understand how it works.

In short, this tracks everything from name, age, appearance to literal game headshots (references) as well as their parents, mentors, alignment and room to add so much more -- really, it's up to your imagination, this is just a base.

So, I made a "Core 8" display that I really like, check it out below:

No names (easily fixed) by my name, and linking the characters to their classes. It's a quick put-together that was lined up by eye and therefore could use some straightening, which I might do as a secondary release. For those of you inclined I made two blank versions, free for anyone's use though I would love a shoutout so I can see them in action.

Now, the one that's wholly transparent is for people with the time and skill to remove that much background from screencaps. The black background can have you going into an image editor that does layers, putting in all the pictures, saving it, then running it through a background / color remover - something like PhotoScape X, which has a free use version. It works by removing same colored parts of an image, so in this case the pure black will go away with a click without taking away any of the other very different (gold) colorings.

Of course if you're uneasy and either you follow me or I follow you, drop it in my submit and I can do it for you in a few seconds. Just tell me in there if you want it submitted back or posted.

SO, here's the deal (re: more legacy graphics)

A lot if not most of us longer term players have Legacies that are uh. Big? And some of the characters are player characters (the 8 classes) and some of them are original characters (all other characters created by the player within the game sandbox) and honestly they add up fast.

I kinda want to makes a template for showing all of them off. Ambitious? You betcha. I am still very, very interested. So here's a little poll, pass it around like candy at a kids party so we can get a lot of input this week, k?

My Legacy is mostly...

ONE player character (PC) per class (per server)

Various takes on player characters (more than one PC per server)

Some or all PCs + Originals with canon jobs

Some or all PCs + Originals with noncanon jobs

ONLY original characters or severely au PCs

ALL OF IT in one server or another

So they changed the class Icons. Working on doing a thing with that.

Posts for each set of 2 at a time, I think? Because if I do:

white background

transparent in color

black background

for some 200x200s.... that's 9 per class and there's only 30 images available per post.

What we're looking at is:

Jedi Knight and 2 specialties + Jedi Consular and two specialties

Smuggler and 2 specialties + Trooper and 2 specialties

Sith Warrior and 2 specialties + Sith Inquisitor and 2 specialties

Imp Agent and 2 specialties + Bounty Hunter and 2 specialties

Honestly this is part of an entirely different project XD But I thought people might like them. Actually, I might tack on one more thing... I guess we'll see?
