A chance in life I daren't miss
Is to write a poem for an eclipse
I find myself waxing soon
About this day of blackened sun
Across the world we share the moon
Well, we share it, on all days but one
When my sky skips sunset
Will you notice anything?
While my sun is a thin slit
Does your sky even dim?
Across the nation, on not-my-coast
The sky will look the same as ever
This skys the sky I'd share the most
So maybe next one, we'll stand together?
