Didn’t want to put this piece with the other outaded desings, mostly because there is an specific tag for it, but also because I'm really pround of it. Gotta love Burnet, she is one of my favorite caracthers

I had this really silly idea for character. Which would be a cat based on a mango. And his name would be Mango Strike.

Now, bare with me. I know this name sounds very silly. But hear me out. Mangos can be extremely dangerous.

My condominium had a lot of mango trees in it, mostly near the playground, and there is usually a LOT of mangos around spring/summer (I live in Brazil, so we are in spring right now).

Last November, I was walking (running) around in the condominium like I usually do, and I was passing by the playground. And one of the ripe mangos had fallen off the tree and was basically smashed, on the asphalt. And I triped on the stupid thing, fell on the ground, and managed to hurt both my right foot and my left knee (somehow). You know that joke about people triping over bananas? It hapenned to me with a mango. I was barely able to walk for an entire week. It is still a little red on the scar on my foot (yes, a mango left me scarred).

So, moral of the story: mangos can be very dangerous and Mango Strike is a perfectly logical name

Here he is. I'm going to say he is a 'mango' color point just to be funny. I tried to make his head be shaped a bit like a mango, and make his cheek fur look like leaves, but I'm not very satisfied with the result.

He is the brother of Falcon Strike. I imagine him as being sweet, but very ferocious in battle.

(Also: the colony has a naming system where the suffix is a familiar name inherited by one of the parents, so Falcon and Mango got the 'Strike' from one of their parents, and the other parent who didn’t get to pass down their name chose the prefixes. It is not a warrior cat's naming system.
