Today we got the tour of Portland’s cute SE, it’s sights & tastes, where my brother now lives; among the activities we did was buy a few Portland/Oregon beers. This evening the choice fell to a couple recommendations from Brett from Belmont Station: a nice bitter pine citrus fruity Cut The Fluff (IPA) by Baerlic Brewing Co (Portland, OR), a full bitter citrus fruity Starburst IPA from Ecliptic Brewing (Portland, OR), and a lovely rich coffee chocolate Cavatica Stout (Fort George Brewery & Public House, OR), named after an orb spider - one whose web I walked through I think many hundreds of times way back when I moved to the PNW in the 90’s when Curt Cobain was still walking and causing mischief & music.
