Flying houses
Last week I visited Biodesign in Rotterdam, it's a exhibition on the Cross-Pollination of nature, science an creativity. There i saw the Eco-Pods. And I immediately thought, this would maybe be the housing of the future.
This is a stalled construction project, thats hard because the idea is so good. The objectives of this proposal are to stimulate the local economy and ecology of Boston through the integration of energy production and architecture. The modules can be used as incubators in which grow algae for biofuel. And that's the good thing about it, it's ecological. Why couldn't we live in these 'boxes'? They're flexible and green. That's what we want from our houses. Isn't it possible to make a network of this in each city, so you can move you're house to every place you want. Make an application for this and you're house will be 'delivered'.
