EcoVadis doesn’t just look at policies—you need:
Clear evidence
Proper CSR & supplier documentation
Alignment with actual practices, not just written policies
What made a big difference for us was doing a gap analysis first to understand:
What EcoVadis actually expects
Where our documentation was weak
How to structure evidence properly
Once that was clear, policy updates and score improvement became much easier.
