1) If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?
Because I'm such a huge Ringer, I've always wanted to go to New Zealand. I also really want to go to Alaska and see the Northern Lights though. The struggle
2) What is the strangest clothing item you own?
I don't really have many strange clothes, but I do have a large t-shirt with Mr. Rogers' face on it that says "You are special"
3) What is your life motto
never really thought about this before, but I guess it'd be something cheesy like "always be true to who you are." or "fuck it"
4) When you were a little kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? Do you still want to do that?
I wanted to be a professional soccer player when I was super young, maybe 4 or 5, but everything changed when the fire nation attacked. But no, I don't still want to do that
4) What is the most unexpected thing that you have done in the past year?
I decided to stop playing soccer, which I've done for over 17 years now, because of health reasons, mental and physical. It was my first love so it was a really tough and unexpected decision
5) Did you make any New Years resolutions? If so, what were they?
not any specific ones. Maybe straighten out my life, stop drinking excessively, figure out what I'm gonna do once I graduate, strengthen my relationship with God, the usual
6) What is the hardest thing you have ever done?
I recently told my high-school ex who I tried to stay friends with for all four years of college that I couldn't keep sticking around after he told me I was always going to be his fall-back option. The hard thing is that I still really care about him
7) What is the last thing that really made you truly happy?
In December when I stood at my sister's side as her maid of honor and watched her marry the boy she'd been dating since her sophomore year of high-school, 7 years ago.
8) What is your greatest fear?
That I'll never find my person
9) If money and time weren’t an issue, what would you do with your life?
I would love to travel all over the world and meet new people and write stories about their lives and the places I am visiting.
10) What was the most interesting class you ever took?
I took a class on Scandinavian Sagas and Skyrim, where part of our homework was playing different Skyrim quests. But it wasn't all fun and games, we also applied psychoanalytic principles from Freud and Lacan to the concepts of fantasy and play in video games.
11) What are you really looking forward to right now?
Over spring break I may go on a road trip with my roommate and best friend to New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah. I'm excited to see the Grand Canyon and Antelope Canyon and a myriad of other beautiful places and sleep in our car and shitty motels.
