BAOZI 包子小姐

我们很荣幸能邀请到 Baozi小姐在我们 ECS 上分享她一些很有创作性的作品。 We are excited to extend a warm welcome to Miss.Baozi who has connected with us here at ECS Shenzhen. Some examples of her work are showcased here. 

一位包子脸女生最爱画包子，最爱吃包子，通过包子开始了自己的创作，在她心中，每个人都像一个包子，心里都充满美好的馅料。 Miss. Baozi is a baby faced girl who loves painting and eating Baozi. She started her own design company and theme based on the concept that everyone looks like a Baozi. There is always something beautiful in a baozi.  

Product design idea: 

佛山岭南天地的雕塑作品设计是在当地传统文化的背景下，包子小姐和其男友一起在那里旅游的经历，他们通过很多小故事来表达他们之间的甜蜜爱情，其中有情侣比心形，做甜点，互相拍照等等。并希望通过这些能激发其他游客，让他们也可以创造出属于他们自己的每个小故事。 

In Foshan, the Lingnan tian di sculpture design is based on local Chinese traditional culture, Miss Baozi and her boyfriend’s travel experiences, and some sweet stories that depict their love to each other. The heart shapes, baked sweets and photographs together are a way of sharing their experiences which they hope can inspire other tourists that visit to create their own stories too.

Guan Lan NEW WHO Project鳌湖艺术村项目         May 2014   

The New Who group in Guan Lan is an artist village for contemporary art that embraces raw talent and innovative artistic creations. Paintings, live art, sculpture. ECS's project includedthree manhole cover paintings and a large wall mural.

观澜鳌湖艺术村是一个以现代艺术为主的艺术家村落，村子欢迎各种纯粹的艺术家人才和创新艺术。村里有随处可见的绘画作品，现场艺术活动和雕塑作品。此次我们ECS项目包含了3个井盖涂鸦和一个大型的墙绘。

The theme for Phase Oneof the project was ‘Exploring New Who’. For the wall mural design, ECS Co-Founder, Zoe Latham, took inspiration from the old vernacular architecture around Guan Lan and chose key patterns and forms that were repeated around the village. These forms were then simplified in to their most basic of shapes and made into stencils. The forms were collaged back together to make a colourful, site specific and simple design that anyone could take part in.

第一期项目的主题是“发现鳌湖”。墙绘作品是由ECS合办人Zoe Latham设计的。她的创作灵感来自观澜老村的古建筑楼宇，收集了村子里随处可见的主要花纹与框架图案。这些图案最终被简化成一些基本形状来做成各种模板。最后与不同图案拼贴在一起，做成一个色彩鲜艳，具有地方特色但是又非常简单的墙绘设计方案，让大家都可以参与到绘画中来。

 The designs for the three manhole covers were very different as they were painted by multiple artists. One was based on the idea of water escaping the manhole cover, another transformed the manhole cover into magnifying glass which was a play on the exploration idea and the last was inspired by a crystal ball game.

其它三个井盖的涂鸦设计风格非常不一样，因为他们是由不同的艺术家完成的。其中一个作品是地下水溢出井盖的想法，而另外一个是用井盖来作为放大镜，意为发现与探索。最后一个是受弹珠水晶球游戏的启发而设计。

 “The New Who project went very well. The local villagers think it brings a freshness to their community.“Mrs Wang, the coordinator of New Who village,continued to say that “the multicultural experience and the participation of the volunteers is a great thing for the local people here. They will welcome and continue to support similar projects in the future.”

 主办方负责人王小姐说，“鳌湖艺术村此次的项目，大家反映很不错，当地的村民觉得此类活动很新鲜。”她认为，“生活环境有了多元的文化体验和参与者加入，对生活在这里的人们是一

件非常棒的事情，此后也会对类似的活动继续保持开放与支持的态度。”

Guan Lan NEW WHO Project  牛湖艺术村             May 2014

ECS will be in the small town of Guan Lan, North of Shenzhen, helping the artists of the New Who group brighten up their new artist’s community.

 The New Who group in Guan Lan is an artist village for contemporary art that embraces raw talent and innovative artistic creations. Paintings, live art, sculpture. Anything and everything is welcomed here. 

ECS's project will include three manhole cover paintings, a large wall mural, gardening and general cleaning of the neighborhood.

 ECS的新项目将和深圳观澜牛湖老村的艺术家们合作，共同为这个向艺术转型的百年老村增添一份创意。

 观澜牛湖老村曾是一个普通破旧的村子，现在吸引了许多纯粹的深圳艺术家纷纷进驻，一些老房子被改造成了创意工作室，村子里越来越多各种现代艺术和创意作品。任何艺术和创作者都可以在这里拥有展示的空间。

 ECS的牛湖艺术村项目第一期暂定于5月10日的周末，我们将会创作三个井盖和一栋旧房子墙绘，以及一些园艺和社区清理的活动。
