My Bloody Valentine - Before Loveless (2009). This is a nice compilation of their EPs and it’s unofficial. So it’s not remastered or re-engineered but the quality is very good. Stairway to Heaven is boring, Houses Of The Holy is mid, D'yer Mak'er is unlistenable

Ok ok OK the thing about Stairway…is it overplayed? YES. Has it been overplayed for the last several decades? YES. Howeeeever, sometimes you just get in a mood to hear that specific song and nothing else will do. I skip it a lot, but every so often I let it play, and it never fails to send shivers up my spine when I do.

Houses of the Holy, agreed. Mid-tier, nothing flashy, nothing super fancy, just a straight rock groove that stays in its lane. I dig it, though.

D’yer Maker was my least fave Zep song for a long time, then I slowly started liking it. It’s still not on my top 10 list but I can appreciate it for what it is.
